BBC Radio Lincolnshire invited Cllr Hill, leader of Lincolnshire County Council to explain the situation live on air.

Note that he implies that the council have only been considering the project for 12 days, This is not true. He also says that the council gets no cash from the deal. You will see later in Radioactive Waste Management's statement, that the council £1 million per annum until sample drilling begins, then that will rise to £2.5 miliion.

BBC also interviewed the leader of the Labour group on the district council.



He says that the district council knew nothing but the Leader of East Lindsey District Council, Cllr Leyland, was the man who made the first contact in 2019
