Gayton - le -Marsh and Carlton are now the area of focus

Writer: smithkengsmithkeng

At long last, NWS has admitted that they cannot fit their surface site on the land including the Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal. The new area of Focus is agricultural land at Gayton-le-Marsh and Great Carlton.

What NWS didn't mention to the media was the huge increase in the amount of Land they wanted for the surface site and the massive expansion of the underground workings.

The new area of focus is 940 acres (approx 1 sq mile) of productive farmland at Gayton-le-Marsh and Great Carlton.

LCC has abandoned the people to their fate. By remaining part of the process, they are actively supporting a scheme which will destroy a square mile of productive farmland forever, This is curious because because they have used the country's need for food to oppose solar farms and pylons. It seems that double standards are alive and well and living in Lincoln.
