NWS is looking for a new home for its GDF. It's taken some time, but The company has finally admitted that it is becoming impossible to fit their GDF into the land surrounding the Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal. Over the last two years, they tried to pretend that they could share the site with Viking CCS. When Theddlethorpe Flexible Generation leased some of the land an NWS spokesperson claimed they could make their site smaller. Now the details of the CCS land purchase have been released, they have been forced to admit that they are now looking for alternative sites.

Our District and County Councils got involved in the project to produce an income from what they claimed to be a brownfield site, Now that site is no longer available they have good reason to withdraw from the process.

NWS say they are looking for another site. However, they are not renowned for their speed of action.

So where could it go? The answer is anywhere within the wards of Mablethorpe and Theddlethorpe and Withern, that's anywhere from Sutton on Sea and Great Carlton, or from Beesby to the Saltfleetby Dunes.
