Following the collapse of the South Holderness Working Group, we were contacted by Calendar News to compare the way the respective councils responded to the views of the people.
With only half a day's notice, we managed to muster fifty people at the entrance to the Gas Terminal site to show the strength of feeling.
The reporter was surprised at the level of support for GOTEC, not just because of the lack of notice but also because it has been two and a half years yet the feelings were just as strong.. We made it clear that our campaign has shifted and, in the case of the Nuclear Waste Dump, we are now pushing the councils to allow us a vote at the earliest opportunity.
