With the events of the East Lindsey District Council motions last week clearly at the forefront of our minds, we encourage all of our followers to email all Lincolnshire County Councillors to implore them to do the right thing and stop the GDF NOW.
Point out the hypocrisy of fighting to save farmland from pylons and solar farms while offering up 960 acres of productive farmland for a nuclear dump. Tell them that there is a groundswell of public opinion that will take notice of county Councillors' action or inaction on this matter. If they want the residents to decide, they can give us a vote on it in May this year. An imminent option for the public to send appropriate feelings via the ballot box is looming. Tell them that you expect them to do the right thing Now.
Time is of the essence as the grapevine tells us that there is a meeting on Tuesday of members of the ruling party where they decide how they are going to vote.. It is important that they go into that meeting knowing how p[precarious their position is
